At the forefront of the meat industry, VPJ celebrates two decades of dedication and innovation, standing out as a reference in all stages of meat production, as shown in an exciting institutional video.
The journey of VPJ Alimentos, now celebrating twenty years of success, began with deep agricultural roots and evolved with courage and a unique business vision. The company, under the leadership of businessman Valdomiro Poliselli Júnior, a farmer with a rich history in animal selection and genetic improvement, takes pride in its trajectory and prominent position in the special meats market.
Recognized as one of the few companies in Brazil to fully control the entire meat production chain, VPJ Alimentos offers over 800 products across 12 different brands of beef, pork, and lamb. Valdomiro Poliselli Júnior, the visionary president who pioneered the introduction of North American Angus genetics in Brazil, built not only a legacy but a company that excels in all processes.
The farming tradition, inherited from the Poliselli family, is evident in VPJ’s pioneering achievements, from the introduction of Angus genetics to obtaining crucial certifications that ensure the reliability of its processes and products.
“I have always believed that the real market is not found by following the same path, but by seeking and developing products with high quality and standards,” says the businessman, recalling the launch of VPJ Alimentos in 2004 during a crisis in the industrial crossbreeding market. At that time, the company owned the largest crossbreeding Angus herds and feedlots.
Starting in Goiás and distributing to the Federal District, VPJ Alimentos quickly stood out due to the noticeable difference in meat quality from the very first slaughter. Headquartered in Pirassununga, São Paulo, the company entered a phase that significantly boosted its business, resulting in long-lasting success to this day.
Adopting genetic improvement programs, VPJ is committed to producing beef from Aberdeen Angus genetics, pork from the American Duroc breed, and lamb from South African Dorper and White Dorper breeds, known for their genetic aptitude for intramuscular marbling.
From the initial stages of breeding, raising, and fattening, each step is meticulously monitored up to the feedlot, with careful animal selection to ensure premium carcasses. Slaughtering takes place in federally inspected (SIF) certified slaughterhouses, with evaluations by technicians from the Brazilian Angus Association and Brazil Beef Quality, guaranteeing quality through the classification of 15 characteristics, marbling analysis, pH, and meat color, culminating in the prestigious Angus Gold seal.
“In its 20 years of existence, VPJ has marketed products in all 26 states of the country and the Federal District, with a focus on restaurants. In the last two years, it has intensified its presence in retail, offering specific and exclusive lines for this segment. We celebrate two decades of hard work, perseverance, and the constant commitment to offer the best product on the market,” celebrates Valdomiro Poliselli Júnior.
